Advanced MENU MANAGEMENT
Advanced Menu Management allows you to disable ACT! features by letting you choose which ACT! menu commands are available to the users of your database. If you find that the ACT! security roles do not give you enough flexibility, Advanced Menu Management is for you. Want to disable the Import/Export feature for certain users? Want to prevent users from customizing their list views? Advanced Menu Management gives you full control over who can do what.
You can also disable any right-click menu item
as well as any button on bars (filter bars, nav bars)
Advanced Menu Management is very simple. You first create menu schemes (unchecked menu items are automatically disabled).
Then you associate users with appropriate menu schemes. (See the main window screenshot).
NOTE: Advanced Menu Management works only with the English version of ACT!.
