Act! to PDF Forms
If you need to fill in PDF forms with data already in Act!, Act! to PDF Forms is for you.
Act! to PDF Forms allows you to create a field map (Act! fields to PDF fields) so that you may merge data from Act! directly into your PDF Forms. No more retyping data already in Act!.
Flexible field mapping
Act! to PDF Forms is not a PDF form creator. It only works with existing PDF Forms. Each field in the form may be mapped to an Act! field. You can map a field to a contact, company, group or opportunity/product field and mix the type of fields in the same form.
For instance, you could map some of the form fields to contact fields and others to company fields. If you then launch the merge from a contact record, the program will automatically pull data from the company record. If you launch it from a company record, it will look for the company's contacts and if there is more than one contact in the company, it will prompt you to select which contact to merge.
Automatically number your documents
with Act! to PDF Forms internal AutoNumbering system
Automatically number your documents
Act! to PDF Forms includes its own AutoNumbering system. You may define as many automatic number formats as you want, one for each of your forms if you'd like, and select it when generating your document.
Automatically name your documents
Act! to PDF Forms also allows you to define a naming convention for the merged documents. This convention can include any Act! fields in case for instance you want to have the name of the company included in the name of the merged document or the autonumber if you're using automatic numbering...
