AutoFill allows you to maintain a table of records containing up to 6 fields that you can map to almost any field of the ACT! contact screen.
Here is an example below. Column titles are customizable. You can add, edit or remove any item from the list at any time. Column are resizable and sortable.
In this example, we want to populate 4 fields of our ACT! database at once: the first field is the Territory # and the 3 other fields are directly linked to this territory #.
After you select the correct territory # for the current contact, click the AutoFill button, the information contained in the 6 fields of the selected record will be copied to the Active contact in ACT!, according to the mapping done from the Options menu. Almost all fields are mappable. See the mapping window.
Before copying the data to your ACT! current contact, you'll get a confirmation window.
