Location of the menu items added to Excel by the add-on

Excel Quote-Invoice Maker adds several menu items to Excel whether you are editing a template or viewing a merged document.

  • Excel 2007 and higher forces the custom commands to a special location so they are all grouped under the Menu Command group of the Add-Ins menu.

    • The menu items added to Excel when viewing a merged document only
  • In earlier versions of Excel, the items are added to different menus
    • The Save as Excel Templates for ACT! command is under the File menu (when editing a template only)
    • The ACT! Mail Merge Fields... command is under the Insert menu (when editing a template only)
    • The Save As and Update ACT! History... command is under the File menu (when viewing a merged document only)
    • The Transfer Mapped Data to ACT! command is under the Data menu (when viewing a merged document only)
