Upgrading from a previous version

From a version for ACT! 2005/6/7/8/9

  • Go to Options>Preferences and even if properly set, reselect your Data Folder by clicking the "..." button then OK. This will allow the add-on to convert your calculations and series.
  • You will have to recreate your field assignments if any.
  • You will have to recreate your layout buttons if any. See the video under the Running calculations chapter of this online help.

This needs to be done just once (ie. if you have multiple users, you need to do this only on one machine).

From a version for ACT! 2000/4

You will have to start from scratch due to the changes of platform and database structure.
